Erasmus+ Ausbildungspartner

Erasmus+ Austauschprogramm

Wir als kaufmännische Auszubildende (Industriekaufleute) aus dem jetzigen 3. Lehrjahr hatten im Juni 2022 die einmalige Chance an einem tollen Projekt teilzunehmen. Ein 3-wöchiges Auslandspraktikum nach Dublin in Irland, gefördert durch Erasmus+ und ermöglicht durch die bbs1Celle.

Nachdem wir von dem Angebot erfahren hatten, sprachen wir direkt mit unserer Ausbilderin. Diese fand die Möglichkeit und die Idee, unsere Ausbildung drei Wochen an einem anderen Ort auszuüben genauso toll und spannend wie wir und stand dem Ganzen direkt offen gegenüber.

Durch das Praktikum haben wir die Chance bekommen, in einem anderen Land neue Arbeitserfahrungen zu sammeln, unsere sprachlichen Kenntnisse weiter zu verbessern und uns für eine Zeit lang sogar als Teil einer anderen Kultur zu fühlen.
Wir hatten wirklich eine tolle und spannende Zeit und sind mit vielen neuen Eindrücken zurück nach Hause und ins Unternehmen gekommen.

Für unsere Teilnahme an diesem Projekt haben wir am Ende einen Europass als Auszeichnung bzw. Mobilitätsnachweis erhalten und auch unser Unternehmen, die Achilles Gruppe, wurde als Erasmus+ Ausbildungspartner ausgezeichnet, dadurch das sie uns dieses Auslandspraktikum ermöglicht haben.

Seit dem 01.08.2022 startet ein neuer Lebensabschnitt für unsere neuen Auszubildenden!
Am vergangenen Montag haben wir 7 Auszubildende und eine Praktikanten in unserem Unternehmen begrüßt.

Ausbildungsabschluss

Erfolgreicher Ausbildungsabschluss bei Achilles

Einen wichtigen Meilenstein im Leben haben unsere drei Auszubildenden nun erreicht. Mit ganz viel Fleiß, Neugierde, großem Interesse und manchmal auch Durchhaltevermögen haben alle drei Auszubildenden Ihre Abschlussprüfung erfolgreich bestanden.Die Geschäftsführung und Ausbildungsbeauftragten bedanken sich recht herzlich für die tolle Zusammenarbeit.

Darleen

Trainee industrial clerk introduces herself:

Darleen is an apprentice industrial clerk, here she gives a brief introduction:

"MY name is Darleen Garrelts, I am 20 years old and I started my apprenticeship at Achilles in 2018 after completing my Abitur (A-levels)".

What apprenticeship are you participating in?

"I am completing a 3-year apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, in which I pass through many different departments within the company".

Why did you choose Achilles?

"Achilles is a large company in the Celle area and is very well known in my parents' circles. After informing myself about the company, it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to complete my training here. Achilles was also honoured by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce as a TOP trainer, which speaks for itself".

What do you like best about the apprenticeship?

"What I like best is the affable interaction with colleagues, the relationship with fellow trainees, the diversity of the tasks in the different departments and so much more".

What is the interaction with colleagues and superiors like?

"I could not have imagined better interaction with my colleagues. I have been warmly welcomed and integrated into the existing team in every department I have been in so far. I enjoy going to work not only because of the tasks, but also because of my colleagues".

What is your everyday life as an apprentice like?

"Not the way most people would imagine an apprentice's everyday life to be. We are fully involved in the processes and tasks in every department and therefore take on a lot of responsibility even during training.

What was your "special moment" at Achilles?

"My "special moment" at Achilles was the QM workshop at our Landau site, where colleagues from all other sites came together. It was a very exciting and enjoyable two days".

For me, working at Achilles means...

"...looking forward to going to work and having a lot of fun".


Michelle

Trainee industrial clerk introduces herself:

Michelle is an apprentice industrial clerk, here she gives a brief introduction:

"My name is Michelle Behre and I am 21 years old. I was very certain that after graduating from high school I wanted to start my professional life with an apprenticeship".

What apprenticeship are you participating in?

"I am training to become an industrial clerk and will start my third year of training in August".

Why did you choose Achilles?

I chose Achilles because I have only ever heard good things about the company.
Achilles has also received certification with the IHK seal for excellent training quality and operates in a fascinating industry".

What do you like best about the apprenticeship?

"We apprentices are given a lot of responsibility at Achilles and you are not treated like an apprentice, but like a fully-fledged employee".

What is the interaction with colleagues and superiors like?

"The interaction with the supervisors and colleagues is friendly and relaxed, everyone always has an open ear if someone need help and you don't have to be afraid of asking questions".

What is your everyday life as an apprentice like?

"I change departments every 4-6 months.
Currently, I'm assigned to HR management and process applications, create travel expense reports and have various projects such as organising the events on 01.08.2020".

What was your "special moment" at Achilles?

"The days in production, in full service and in the Create area – that is where I gained an insight into how our products are made".

For me, working at Achilles means...

"...a lot of fun at work and taking responsibility!"


Serhat

Apprentice machine and plant operator introduces himself:

"My name is Serhat Acar, I am 20 years old and I come from Celle".

What apprenticeship are you participating in?

"I am completing an apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator".

Why did you choose Achilles?

"Because I think that Achilles is a great family business
and produces very exciting products.

What do you like best about the apprenticeship?

"What I like best about the apprenticeship is the teamwork with my colleagues".

What is the interaction with colleagues and superiors like?

"The interaction with colleagues and superiors is very good and 
everyone gets along very well with each other"

What is your everyday life as an apprentice like?

"My working day consists of working on a laminating machine and laminating printed sheets, 
and constantly learning about new machines".

What was your "special moment" at Achilles?

"The first time I was allowed to work alone at the laminating machine".

For me, working at Achilles means...

"...diversity and fun at work".


Maurice

Trainee for warehouse logistics specialist introduces himself:

"My name is Maurice Arendt, I am 23 years old and I come from Celle". I like to go fishing in my spare time".

What apprenticeship are you participating in?

"I'm doing an apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist".

Why did you choose Achilles?

"I did an internship beforehand, which I liked very much".

What do you like best about the apprenticeship?

"I like the varied and independent work".

What is the interaction with colleagues and superiors like?

"People here work well with each other, we can talk about problems at colege, or get support with activities that are still unfamiliar".

What is your everyday life as an apprentice like?

"My working day starts at 6 o'clock in the morning. First, I start the PC, open all the programmes that we will need throughout the day and bring the buggy (industrial truck) to the workplace.
I prepare delivery notes, pack pallets, dispose of any rubbish and place phone calls to the clerks to clarify open questions".

What was your "special moment" at Achilles?

"When I gained my forklift permit at the beginning of my apprenticeship".

For me, working at Achilles means...

"...teamwork, enjoying being at work, good relations with colleagues and the pleasure of learning something new every day".
